No second night out for homeless in Hart.

Lib Dem-led Hart Council now has a policy of No Second Night Out for the homeless.
Anyone who becomes homeless in Hart is helped by the Council straight away, which works with local charities and other agencies to come up with a housing solution which is right for them, to ensure no-one ever has to spend a second night out sleeping rough here in Hart.

In the recent extremely cold weather, it was reassuring to know our homeless were being looked after. In a civilised society everyone should be able to secure a roof over their heads at any time of year. It is a matter of great shame that Britain in the 21st century still has thousands of people sleeping rough. It is time Government solved this issue once and for all!
