Yateley Town Council tackles Climate Change

Yateley is a beautiful town within the Hart district, and the Lib Dem controlled Town Council want to keep it that way. They are taking multiple steps to help protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions.
The Yateley Town Council Summer 2024 Newsletter reports on a range of measures they are undertaking:
- carbon literacy training for staff
- installing smart heating controls
- a commitment to use only renewable green gas and electricity
- planting deciduous trees, including disease resistant Elms - a long missed feature of the English landscape
- improving the insulation in Council buildings
- reducing printing
